Classic Cary Grant movie in which he makes a bet that he can live for a whole year without touching his own wealth. Feel good comedy. Not the greatest film quality but more than watchable and totally charming.

The editor of a Chicago newspaper is facing the prospect of losing his top reporter and ex wife to an insurance salesman but he’s not giving up easily The crafty editor uses every trick in the book to get the reporter to write one final big hitting story about a murderer and the hapless Sheriff. Things get more and more hilarious as the editor’s friend, his mother and the crooked Mayor get drawn into the plot.
